NEWS: My thoughts on Oluwo of Iwo Land Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi – CEO Xcelcity

Let me start by saying Oluwo of Iwo Land is a great King and a father to us, Before Oluwo became a king I have being organizing many motivational and successful entertaining events to engage the youths in social activities like (Music, Dance, Comedy) lots more to promote our music heritage in other cities nationwide including (Abuja, Lagos, Ibadan etc) but now as His Royal Majesty Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi as the current Oluwo of Iwo city, with his numerous characteristics I have been convinced that ’There is no place like home” regardless of the religion, profession or location, also I have been thinking of something creative to put up together in the city.

This time because of the Oluwo with the enrichment and good doings for the indigenous people of Iwo, I have been inspired to bring my own entertainment platform experience to set up an entrancing show in the city of Iwo, which will be organized at the “Iwo city Hall”, tagged WEMTYM SON OF THE SOIL scheduled to hold On the 11th of August 2019, Osun State.

This will be a very epic event by the grace of the almighty, show casing talented musical act

representing the city in various location eg (Abuja, Ghana, Lagos and Ibadan etc)

My perspective of the Oluwo of Iwo is not just somebody that seats at home and bears the name of a king but by his aims, socializations and experience has brought about great achievements and developments for the good people of Iwo, which is a great thing for me and am proud to state that am also a son of the soil.

In a recent meeting with the Oluwo during his visit to Abuja, we took a walk to the Jabi Shopping mall and couple of entertaining center, this he quoted

“I will like to development such amusement centers in my own land, for my people will really appreciate”,

these are transparent quality of good leadership.

In summary most especially I will like to let every indigene to know that we have a friend, a brother, a father and a king that is willing to develop and take the city of Iwo to the next level, all we need to do in a collective phrase is to give His Royal Majesty the Oluwo Of Iwo Land – Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi our full support as to build and unite our motherland for good.

THANKS
